More Carp Added and the New Lake is now full of water
Carp and Pleasure lakes
Adelaide lake has just received 2000lbs of fast growing carp. Averaging at around 4lbs at the moment, we expect these fish to double in weight this summer.
Pool 1 as it was known has now been enlarged and re-shaped to approximately 4 acres in size. The lake is yet to be pegged and stocked but is looking great. The lake has been renamed as Georges Lake and will hopefully come on line spring 2017. The lake will be heavily stocked with carp to 24lbs and will be our new runs water.
More fish have been added over the past few weeks to our match pools and fishing is improving fast, helped by the increase in spring water temperatures.
Note to all anglers
The team here have just spent the last three days uncovering litter thrown under bushes and down the banks behind the lakes. It’s important that all anglers respect the wildlife and fishery rules by ensure that their pegs are left without rubbish. Regular checks will be made and any rubbish left on the pegs, will be deemed as the current occupying anglers. Failure to remove your rubbish could result in you being asked to leave the fishery and a ban putting in place. A large Skip is in place at the fishery so you have now excuses.
The fishery is only half way through our plan and work is still ongoing but we hope you will agree that its looking great at the moment.
Tight Lines and enjoy your fishing. The team at Cudmore
